Yesterday Kedzie went live as a fully outdoor cat. We have been training her for the past couple of months. We would let her out but only allowed her to go so far, never letting her out of our sight. But yesterday, we did. Pure uninhibited, unadulterated feline curiosity allowed to express itself fully in our little Kedzie. Would she remember, or know how to find her way home? Yes. Yes she did. Twice! To look out the window wondering where she is only to find her spawled out on the front porch - ahhh, FREEDOM!!!
The Alliance of Concerned Squirrels is conveneing to today to discuss this newest threat to the homefront.

I like the Alliance of Concerned Squirrels update...what about the Society of Free Range Cats - will they have anything to say in response? And what about the M.A.F.T.A. treaty signed last year (Moles Against Feline Terror Act)...certainly they will have their own rally soon. :)
Hey Bud...how are ya?
Glad to know that you and the wife (and the precious cat) are fine. Your cat is smart enough to know that she lives with "great" people, so of course she found her way back.
Take care and keep those beautiful pictures coming!
do you have a league of foxes and coyotes? I would think so as we have em' up north!
